Harbuck Keith & Holmes

Harbuck Keith & HolmesThis project was a total redesign of a law firm’s web site. Harbuck Keith & Holmes was formed in early 2016 and at that time had a static HTML website built. Several months later they had already outgrown their website and wanted to revisit their branding. I was brought in to do a redesign starting from defining needs and wants for their digital presence to the complete and launched website. The content included attorney profiles, practice areas, blog, and events.

The site is fully responsive and built on a WordPress platform. The staff at the firm will be able make edits and additions to the content as they wish.

I have also helped the firm move from a previous provider to MailChimp for their email marketing requirements. This included developing branded templates and special email content.

A Little Something Email Template

A Little Something email templateThis responsive email template was created for client A Little Something Gift Boutique in Cahaba Heights, Alabama. The business had a substantial mailing list but had not begun email marketing efforts. This template, set up in Constant Contact, enabled them to reach their customers with news of a new baby section to the store and will allow them to continue reaching out as new items come into the physical store.

Analytics and Email Marketing

For most of my employers and some freelance clients, I have used various analytics software and email management systems to drive traffic, track site and email marketing performance, and maintain customer/subscriber relationships. Some of these I would highly recommend, others I would not. Currently, I am using Google Analytics, StatPress, Piwick, Weblog Expert, Pommo, Dada, and Vertex for various projects.

About

Web design the way it should be—done right, from the ground up—comprehensive, intelligent, with the end user, business goals, and budget in mind.

I practice credibility-based design to enable search engines and users to find you, learn about your company or craft, and engage with you. It’s a comprehensive approach that incorporates technologies and platforms that make sense for you and your brand/business.

Your web site and your brand are yours. On any channel you choose, I will help maximize your digital presence, and I will not hold it hostage. My involvement can be as much or as little as you choose.

I have worked with folks who are very good at their craft and now employ their skills as freelancers. If needed, I can enlist these talented colleagues for help with skills like writing, graphic design, or photography.

If you need a web site, a freshening or redesign, consultation on web design or development, help with site optimization or management, email marketing, social media, a blog, digital strategy, content marketing, or traffic analytics, I can help. My aim is to help you leverage the web to meet your business goals in affordable, intelligent, and creative ways.

Contact me for a “no commitment” (ie, free) consultation.
